TBEX Experience- Where were the Puffins?

the Ring of Kerry

Hey Guys here I am, back to the sun! 😀 but  this is another story…During this week ( the beginning of October) I was in Ireland, attending the Tbex in Killarney, on the west coast and I really discovered another world.

What does it mean? I’ll explain you in a minute: The Tbex  is a sort of seminar for the Travel blogger, in fact is called TBex= Travel Blogger Experience and I really didn’t know what to expect, as I was alone, at my first Tbex, and really trying to figure it out all.

Luckily there was this Facebook page, where all the people got info for the event and exchanged information. I arrived on the 2nd of October and I didn’t know what to do on the day after; reading on this fb group I discovered that there was this Dutch guy @Jochem willing to have a drive around the famous Ring of Kerry.

The area is pretty known for its marvelous landascapes, river and fairy tale atmosphere! So I jumped in with 2 other  guys, Maiku from Toronto and Gisele from Brasil, lets’ present them!

We made various stop, at the Ladies View, (by the way @Maiku you stole my map! 😀 ) so I am going to link up to Maiku’s video, so you can have an idea of the stops  you could be willing to do. It was such a great experience, sharing this adventure with my new friends! I will never stop to say thank you guys!

Anyway, its a pretty long trip around the Ring, so I suggest you to plan that, when you have all the day free to enjoy  inspirational landscapes, because it takes around 6-7 hrs with all the stops and lunch break.

-Surely you cannot miss Sneem a little divine town where I really though to have been transported in a fairy tale ( featured image).

-Drive a bit after to see a 360°panorama view around Caherdaniel.

-Some ruins at Ballinskelligs and then a major stop to the Kerry cliffs.  I was expecting to see the Puffins, ( after 4€ paid) which are birds similar to penguins and live on the island beyond the cliffs, but I didn’t know that you can only spot them in summer… 🙁   ( Apparently they like the hot weather like me!)

Then we were a bit hungry so we went to the Fishermans Bay ( Portmagee) to have some fish. I had a pretty good salmon!

Finally we came to an end with the most outstanding place: Glenbeigh  and Rossbeigh Beach : ocean from one side and green hills on the other side! We spent a lot of times there and we also practiced a yoga meditation experience, made possible by Gisele!

So fInally all good so far…

-I didn’t expect to meet all these  great people, it was my first Travel blogger experience and it went over my expectation.

-Ireland Landscapes are simply magic! Thank you to the Tbex ireland and Failte ireland  that made this possible.

– Enormous quality of content learned from the various Travel blogger and seminars, who turned that into a real profession.  So guys, This is not a myth, you can live with that!
