ROMA: ( for English scroll down)
I lavori del Giubileo sono iniziati da un po’.
Sembra che finalmente potremo godere di una città più vivibile, grazie a interventi come il rifacimento del manto stradale davanti alla stazione Termini , con l’aggiunta probabilmente di uno spazio dove si potrà sostare con l’auto per far scendere i propri familiari o amici . ( una quarantina circa)
Si sono resi conto che i trasporti pubblici e la metro cadono a pezzi e quindi starebbero decidendo di avviare dei lavori, anche se ci vorranno svariati milioni ( una 30ina dicono alla radio) per il restauro dei mezzi.
Tutto ancora rimane un po’ vago, nulla è dato di sapere per certo su quello che sta succedendo a Roma, mentre ormai da mesi imperversa una campagna denigratoria nei confronti del Sindaco della città , Marino, il quale si è inimicato tutti i potenti dalle Mafie al Papa al PD e via dicendo ( e se volete sapere perché vi rimando a questo articolo LINCIAGGIO MARINO dove viene spiegato tutto molto bene ) e quindi molta gente, ripetendo luoghi comuni, non fa che lamentarsi perché tutto va sempre peggio , Roma è sporca, le strade sono piene di buche, …
Costoro non si accorgono che i miglioramenti ci sono e ci saranno a Roma per quanto riguarda anche il decoro pubblico ( vedi il COLOSSEO, finalmente liberato da furgoni e bancarelle o la pedonalizzazione di Via dei Fori Imperiali in Progress) ma TANTO I CITTADINI DI ROMA SONO BRAVI SOLO A LAMENTARSI E A VEDERE IL BICCHIERE MEZZO VUOTO … QUINDI CHE VE LO DICO A FA’??
Io in questo momento mi trovo a Roma e vi parlo un po’ della mia città.
Che cosa fare a Roma?
Se volete comunque godervi questa meravigliosa città ecco alcuni spunti:
- Organizzatevi un giro in bicicletta ( se siete soli o volete condividere l’esperienza con altri vi consiglio il sito GIRO IN BICICLETTA)
- Andate a vedere HENRY MOORE in mostra al Museo Nazionale Romano alle Terme di Diocleziano dal 24-09-2015 al 10-01-2016
- Fate un GIRO PER LA MOVIDA DI PONTE MILVIO dove si mangia e si beve anche con pochi euro , per esempio da MONTADITOS

The works for the Jubilee have already started:
It seems that we will enjoy a city more livable, thanks for example to the works on the road surface and the creation in front of the Termini Station of a space where people can drop off their family or friends .
Someone must have realized that public transport and SUBWAY are falling apart, so they have decided to start work, although it will take several millions of euros (at least according to what heard on the radio) for their restoration and maintenance.
At the moment everything is a bit vague, nothing is known for sure about what’s going on in Rome, where for months a campaign of denigration and discredit has been raging against the Mayor of the city , Ignazio Marino, who is being attacked by very powerful enemies : Politicians , Mafie, the Church … ( There is an article that explains this very well, for those who can read Italian: Mayor Marino) . The conclusion is that many people are being influenced by the media saying that nothing is moving, that Rome is dirty , and other similar things …
But actually there are improvements in Rome for what concerns public decorum (see the COLISEUM finally freed from the siege of stalls and lorries of food vendors, see the pedestrian area in Via dei Fori Imperiali in Progress ,etc.) while the INHABITANTS OF ROME seem only to be able TO COMPLAIN AND SEE THE GLASS HALF EMPTY …
At present I am in Rome and my aim is to tell you a bit of my city.
What to do in Rome?
